AUSTIN, Texas - North Dakota State sophomore Kevin Jackson finished 40th in the first round of the 400 meters at the NCAA West Region Preliminary Round on Thursday, May 27.
Jackson posted a time of 48 seconds flat. The top 24 finishers advanced to Friday's national quarterfinal.
Jackson will also compete in the first round of the 200 meters on Friday at 7:30 p.m. Central.
Senior Scott Johnson and junior Logan Hollenkamp will both compete in the qualifying rounds of the hammer throw beginning at 3 p.m. Thursday.
