Hollenkamp Named to USTFCCCA All-Academic Team

NEW ORLEANS, La. - North Dakota State junior Logan Hollenkamp has been named to the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) Division I All-Academic Team.  A record total of 357 student-athletes representing 118 institutions compose the group.  He is the only Summit League athlete to make the team.

 

Hollenkamp finished third in the hammer throw at the Summit League Championships with a mark of 183 feet.  He is third on the NDSU all-time performance charts with a throw of 184-8.  The St. Cloud, Minn. native placed 40th in the hammer at the NCAA Preliminary Round in Austin, Texas and has a 3.77 GPA in pharmacy.

 

To qualify for the USTFCCCA All-Academic Track and Field Team, the student-athlete must have compiled a cumulative grade point average of 3.25 and have met either the NCAA Division I Indoor automatic or provisional qualifying standard or participated in the NCAA Division I Outdoor Championships (including preliminary rounds) in their respective event.
