FARGO, N.D. - The North Dakota State women's track and field team will kick off the indoor season by hosting the Holiday Invitational and Pentathlon Saturday, Dec. 4. The pentathlon will begin at 10 a.m., while field events will start at 1 p.m. and the running events begin at 2 p.m.
South Dakota State and Mary will join NDSU at Saturday's meet. The Holiday Invitational will be the only competition for NDSU before the semester break.
The three-time defending Summit League champion Bison have been tabbed as the favorite to claim the 2010-11 title as they return 21 letterwinners, including seven all-league selections, from last year's team.
