Louis Dawson (Fargo Oak Grove Lutheran) ran 2:02.10 in the 800 meters at the Spartan Classic Track and Field Meet on April 14, improving from his previous best of 2:14.72 set in April 2025. The time ranks 12th among 584 athletes in North Dakota and earned Dawson second place among 37 competitors.
Veni Morrell (Richardton-Taylor) clocked 13.30 in the 100 meters at the Bowman County Booster on April 14, bettering her previous mark of 13.78 from April 2026. The time ranks 67th of 940 athletes statewide and placed fifth of 88 competitors. Morrell also set a personal record in the long jump, improving from 15-11 to 16-6.
Norah DelaBarre (LaMoure/Litch-Marion) threw 164-4 in the discus at the Bob Billotto Invitational on April 14, surpassing her previous best of 151-10. The throw broke the school record and ranks first among 581 athletes in North Dakota and first among 74 seniors statewide, earning DelaBarre first place among 46 competitors.
Beckett Fogarty (Minot) ran 10:13.79 in the 3200 meters at the BPS Boys Invite on April 16, improving from his previous time of 10:48.76 set in March 2026. The freshman ranks 30th of 182 athletes statewide and fourth among 36 freshmen, finishing 12th of 48 competitors.
Lebron Witherspoon (West Fargo Sheyenne) ran 11.45 in the 100 meters at the Horace Lions Invitational on April 16, bettering his previous mark of 11.98. The sophomore ranks 47th of 1,056 athletes statewide and sixth among 200 sophomores, placing fifth of 82 competitors. Witherspoon also set personal records in the 200 meters (24.36, previous 25.04) and 110-meter hurdles (18.41, previous 19.37).
Brystol Belland (Hettinger) clocked 12.55 in the 100 meters at the Horace Lions Invitational on April 16, improving from her previous best of 12.89. The time set a school record and ranks 13th of 940 athletes statewide and first among 145 sophomores, earning fourth place among 69 competitors. Belland also set a personal record in the 200 meters, running 26.66 compared to her previous mark of 27.21.
Taylor Mauch (Wahpeton) ran 13.06 in the 100 meters at the Bowman County Booster on April 14, bettering her previous time of 13.42. The mark set a school record and ranks 38th of 940 athletes statewide, earning second place among 88 competitors.
