North Dakota high school track and field athletes posted personal records across multiple events during meets held April 27-May 1.
Camron Larson (Hillsboro) threw 152-1 in the discus at the ABW JH Invite on April 30, improving from his previous best of 113-6 set in April 2026. The freshman's mark ranks #11 in the state and #1 among freshmen. Larson also set a personal record in the shot put, improving from 33-9 to 41-10.
Adriana Johnson (Griggs Midkota) ran 2:29.19 in the 800 meters at the Cushman Track-O-Rama on April 28, dropping from her previous personal record of 2:40.92. The time places her #45 in North Dakota and earned third place among 29 competitors.
Mersadie Miller (Kenmare/Bowbells) clocked 2:29.17 in the 800 meters at the Jacob Hynek Memorial Twilight Meet on May 1, improving from 2:42.27 set in April 2026. The freshman ranks #44 in the state and #8 among freshmen, finishing fourth in a field of 49.
Bryn Griffiths (Century) threw 139-10 in the discus at the MAB Boys Invite on April 30, improving from his previous mark of 124-5. The performance ranks #35 in North Dakota and placed ninth among 147 competitors. Griffiths also set a personal record in the javelin, throwing 131-5 compared to his previous best of 125-2.
Levi Maunu (Watford City) ran 11.40 in the 100 meters at the MAB Boys Invite on April 30, improving from 11.82 set in April 2026. The junior ranks #62 in the state and #9 among juniors, placing 20th in a field of 190. Maunu also ran a personal record 24.29 in the 200 meters, down from 24.90.
London Lauf (Minot) ran 5:35.39 in the 1600 meters at the BPS Girls Invite on April 28, improving from 6:02.65 set in April 2025. The sophomore ranks #55 in North Dakota and #8 among sophomores, finishing seventh among 37 runners. Lauf also ran a personal record 29.47 in the 200 meters, improving from 29.94.
Carley Bullinger (Dickinson Trinity) ran 11:46.72 in the 3200 meters at the Trinity Booster on April 28, breaking her previous personal record of 12:00.04 set in April 2026. The time set a school record for Dickinson Trinity and ranks #16 in the state. Bullinger won the event among eight competitors.
