Bison Place Second at Jack Johnson Classic

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. ? Four Bison cracked the NDSU all-time top 10 to help the men's track and field team to a second place finish in the Jack Johnson Classic.

Junior Eric Stroh won his section of the 600 meters in a time of 1:21.33, which is ranked sixth all-time at NDSU. 

Sophomore Kevin Jackson notched a personal best time of 8.13 in the 60 meter hurdles, dropping .04 off his previous best.  His new time is eighth on the all-time performance charts.

Redshirt freshman Jesse Morrow cracked the top 10 in the pole vault after a fourth place finish.  Morrow's mark of 16-1 ¾ is ninth all-time at NDSU.

In the weight throw, junior Logan Hollenkamp won flight one with a throw of 55-4 ¼.  Redshirt freshman Casey Orgon placed third in the flight with a throw of 52-9 ½.  His mark is tied for 10th on the all-time performance charts.

Senior Ted Rud finished as runner-up in the heptathlon with a score of 5,246 points.

The Bison next compete in the Iowa State Invitational Saturday, Jan. 30.
