Bison Women's Track and Field Adds Dockter to Incoming Class

FARGO, N.D. - North Dakota State women's track and field coach Ryun Godfrey has announced the addition of Katie Dockter to next year's freshman class.  She signed a National Letter of Intent to compete in track and field and continue her education at NDSU.

Dockter, a Fargo native, attends Fargo South High School and was the 2008 North Dakota state champion in the long jump and triple jump.  She is tied with former Bison standout Crystal Cummins for fourth on the all-time North Dakota high school long jump performance list with a mark of 19-0 1/2.  She is planning to major in English.

Dockter brings the total number of incoming freshman to six.  She joins Heidi Peterson, Jamie Drevlow, Abby Goraczkowski, Emily Lesser and Kiley Severson, who all signed letters of intent yesterday.
