ELMHURST, Ill. - North Dakota State junior Eric Stroh was selected as the Summit League Men's Track and Field Athlete of the Week after running a personal best in the 800 at the Baldy Castillo Invitational on Saturday, March 20.
Stroh placed fourth in the 800 meters in the first outdoor meet of the year with a personal best time of 1:51.13. He currently leads the Summit League in the event and is ranked ninth in the country. The Bismarck native is seventh on the NDSU all-time performance charts.
It is the first weekly honor of Stroh's career.
Stroh and the Bison return to action April 2-3 at the Duke Invitational in Durham, N.C.
