ELMHURST, Ill. - North Dakota State sophomore Leslie Brost was named the Summit League Women's Track and Field athlete of the week after winning the pole vault at the Baldy Castillo Invitational on Saturday, March 20.

Brost won the event with a mark of 13 feet 7 3/4 inches.  The Watertown, S.D. native leads the Summit League and is currently ranked third in the country in the pole vault.

It is the second outdoor weekly honor of her career and fourth overall.

Brost and the Bison will next compete at the Duke Invitational in Durham, N.C. April 2-3.
