DES MOINES, Iowa ? The North Dakota State 4x800 relay team of junior Eric Stroh, freshman Moses Heppner, redshirt freshman Daniel Merritt and sophomore Travis Fitzke finished ninth in 7:30.24.  The time ranks third on the school's all-time performance charts.

In the 4x200 relay, sophomore Weston Leutz, sophomore Kevin Jackson, freshman Andy Lillejord and freshman Matt Tetzlaff came in sixth in 1:26.29.

The 4x100 relay team of junior Doug Scott, Jackson, sophomore Jason Duchscherer and freshman Lee Dhein was 18^th in 42.69.

In the long jump, junior Ted Rud placed 12^th with a leap of 22-10.  Scott was 21^st with a mark of 22-2 ¼.

North Dakota State continues action at the Drake Relays on Saturday.
