EUGENE, Ore. - North Dakota State junior Whitney Carlson placed 11th in the long jump on the final day of competition at the NCAA Championships on Saturday, June 12.

Carlson posted a mark of 20 feet 3 3/4 inches on her second attempt of the day and finished one spot out of All-America honors.

Texas-El Paso's Blessing Okagbare won the long jump with a leap of 22-3 1/2.

Texas A&M captured both the women's and men's team titles for the second straight year.
