NEW ORLEANS, La. - The North Dakota State men's track and field earned the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Assocation (USTFCCCA) All-Academic Team award the organization announced this week.  A total of 73 institutions earned the distinction as a result of a cumulative team GPA of 3.0 or better.

Yale posted the highest cumulative GPA at 3.42, followed by Lipscomb at 3.39.  The Bison had a team GPA of 3.12 and were joined on the list by fellow Summit League team South Dakota State.

The Big 12 Conference and the Ivy Group each notched six members as All-Academic Teams. The Big 12 group includes Baylor, Iowa State, Missouri, Nebraska, Oklahoma, and Oklahoma State. The Ivy Group to post All-Academic status includes Columbia, Cornell, Dartmouth, Harvard, Princeton, and Yale. The Big Sky and Big Ten each placed five in the order.
