FARGO, N.D. ? The North Dakota State women's cross country team will travel to West Salem, Wis. for the Tori Neubauer Invitational Saturday, Oct. 16. The six-kilometer race will begin at 11:30 a.m. at Maple Grove Country Club.
Last year, the Bison placed fourth out of 27 teams at the Tori Neubauer Invitational. Amy Jo Thorne was the team's top finisher, coming in 11th.
This will be the first race for the Bison since the Wisconsin adidas Invitational Oct. 2. Freshman Heidi Peterson earned Summit League athlete of the week honors after her performance in Wisconsin with a league-leading 6k time of 21:38.1.
The Tori Neubauer Invitational will be NDSU's final race before the Summit League Championships Saturday, Oct. 30 in Carmel, Ind.
