Stroh Named Summit League Athlete of the Week

ELMHURST, Ill. - North Dakota State senior Eric Stroh was named the Summit League men's outdoor track and field athlete of the week after winning the 1,500 meters at the Howard Wood Dakota Relays over the weekend.

Stroh won the 1,500 meters with a personal-best time of 3:49.53.  His time ranks fifth all-time at NDSU and is currently second in the league.  The Bismarck, N.D. native also finished second in the 800 meters in a personal-best and league-leading time of 1:49.65, ranking fourth in school history.

This is the second honor of Stroh's career and his first of the season.  The Bison will be aiming for their second straight league title this weekend at the Summit League Championships in Sioux Falls, S.D.
