Stroh Breaks School Record in 800 Meters at Jim Bush Invitational

WALNUT, Calif. - North Dakota State senior Eric Stroh set a new school record of 1:47.80 in the 800 meters at the Jim Bush Invitational on Saturday, June 4. 

Stroh's third place time shattered Heith Janke's 1998 national title winning school record time of 1:48.51.  Stroh's time also surpasses the 'B' standard of 1:48.45 for the U.S. Championships and was only three-hundredths off the 'A' standard of 1:47.50. 

The Bismarck native now holds the both the North Dakota State indoor and the outdoor 800 meters records.
